Our History

Lucerne is a photographic and filming studio location housed in a 19th Century warehouse. It used to be the assigned area for incoming and outgoing of goods in the well known Percy Dalston Peanut Factory, Hackney Wick.

The surrounding area, once known as Fish Island, is now bordered by canals as a result of a great drainage accomplished in the late 18th Century.

The factory has now been largely converted into shared artistic studios and represents one of the most productive and creative centres in east London.
